    Description

    This is an original antique c.1900 mounted photo of The Mixsell Mill in Clear Creek County, Colorado.  This photo is on the mount measuring about 10” x 7.75”.  The photo shows a small group of five men standing in front of a wooden building with the words THE MIXSELL MILL visible in large letters on the side of the building.   This mill was part of the Mixsell mining interested operated by Phillip Mixsell of Idaho Springs, Colorado.  The back of the photo has a ink stamp for Frank H. Clark, Mining Engineer of Idaho Springs, Colorado. A building roof is partly visible in the back of the photo with the words “Jackson Concentrating” visible.
    This photo has some white speckling that looks like it might have been on the negative when the photo was developed.  The photo is also apparently trimmed a bit on the right edge and top edge and has some darkening in places, nicks and chips and short tears.   Overall condition is good.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
