Seventh in the Tree Trimming Collection, the 2005 Tree Trimming Tinsel Basket was a new form available in three trim strip colors: red, green or Warm Brown. Leather handles are red, green or chocolate brown to match the trim strip, which is triple layered. Colored leather handles are a first for the Tree Trimming Collection. Tinsel Basket came with a dated Tie-on in a giftable box. Tree Trimming Logo is burned onto the bottom. Tinsel Basket integrates with the Nature's Garland Small Square Bowl - another first for the Collection, and fits on top shelf of Holiday Wrought Iron Stand.
Available October 1 - 31, 2005. Measures
6.5L 6.5W 2.75H. This set comes with the basket in Red Trim Strip with the original box, the pottery tie on still sealed in the bag, the fabric liner in the Holiday Stripe pattern, plastic protector, Woodcrafts Lid and the original product cards. There is some hand writing on the box.

The Longaberger Company, Dresden Ohio, created handwoven baskets out of hardwood maple sourced from the US, pottery, hand-forged wrought iron and other items for over forty years, from 1973 to 2018.  The company reopened in 2019 with artisans still located in Dresden Ohio who create baskets just as they had for a century before. Longaberger baskets are handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. At the height of the company’s popularity there were over 4,000 weavers and over 70,000 home consultants. As a consultant for over 20 years, I have a great deal of inventory that was either stored or used for display purposes.
