This is the 1996 Longaberger Maple Leaf Basket Set with the Fabric Liner in Fall Gingham pattern, Plastic Protector and Maple Leaf Tie On in original box.  This basket is part of the Shades of Autumn Series which began in 1990.  It features
Rust, Dresden Blue, and Green highlight weave,.Green and Rust trim strip and regular Warm Brown Stain with one swinging handle.
The introduction of the Maple Leaf basket brought with it the introduction of the Fall Gingham fabric.
It measures
7RD 6.5H.  This basket and accessories is very clean and aging beautifully.  There are no broken or chipped splints and no stains on it.  It was well loved.
The Longaberger Company, Dresden Ohio, created handwoven baskets out of hardwood maple sourced from the US, pottery, hand-forged wrought iron and other items for over forty years, from 1973 to 2018.  Longaberger baskets were handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. At the height of their business, the company employed over 4,000 weavers and 70,000 home sales consultants. As a consultant for over 20 years, I have a great deal of inventory that was either stored or used for display purposes.
