This Signed base was acquired at a special invitation autograph event for collectors of the Walt Disney Classic Collection I was able to meet with Wayne Allwine, Russo Taylor and Bruce Lau. Mr Allwine is best known as the voice of Mickey Mouse. The actor had been the voice of Mickey from 1977 until his death in 2009. His voice has been heard at Disney Theme Parks, on television and in live stage events. Russi Taylor, his wife of 20 years, is the voice talent of Minnie Mouse. ( Just to think; Mickey and Minnie really were married!!) Bruce Lau is the sculptor responsible for creating many of the award winning Porcelain sculptures for the WDCC. His talent allows him to capture the charm and personality of these classic animated characters! What a GIFT! As a collector, this day was indeed a most "Magical" day!
