    Description

    This is a very old wooden toolbox, to which i gave a whitewash paint finish, and designed a custom rug for the top.  My husband lined the interior with aromatic cedar.  Would be a fun place to store woolens!!
    The box originally had the brass handles on either end, so I've kept them. I added some large unique antique decorative non locking hardware to the front as a clasp.  I think it looks really awesome.
    The rug is based on a design by Karen Kahle, and i added some flowers and the word "WOOL".  the colors are deep medium blue, and creamy tans and beiges for the sheep. Fully finished by whipping the edges like i always do for my projects.
    Box measures 16.25 inches wide, excusive of handles; almost 9 inches deep, and about 10 inches tall overall. Rug is 7.5 by 14. 75 inches; it's nailed in place and could be removed but who would want to??
    This was a one of a kind creation that I will never be able to replicate. Hope to give it a good home.
